Define yourself!

You know what, I am tired of being told what a good photo is and what is acceptable to society! I say that if you are creative than screw it. Don't let others tell you what is good and what is not. Don't get caught up with this social media bull.

Everyone is in titled to there opinion yes but please shut up! If you like a piece of art great kudos to you and let the artist know. If you don't like it shut the up no one cares and go about your day. Now if you are a creative and you are critiquing the piece of art, thats fine. Everyone else take your stupid opinions somewhere else. All over the news now you have people talking about artist to take down there art from Facebook and other social media networks because in there opinion it should not be shown to the public.  If you don't like it go look at something else. No one said you have to look at the photos.

Right now you can find people taking about Jill White (find her on FB here) and add her! (Her work is amazing just be nice) and her daughter and daughters friend about a photo that the public thinks is not acceptable. You can find sex drugs and guns on Facebook but this photo is not respectfully right! Get you heads out of your ass and wake up people. Its an innocent photo! You can read the controversy here to know more about the story.

Now I'm getting off topic. I'm not here to talk about what happen with Jill White but it did make me a little mad. I'm talking about not letting others define you.

You are a creative! If you create something and you think it's the greatest thing you have ever made then it is. There are 7 Billion people on this planet and I'm sure your not the only one who thinks your work is a masterpiece.

I myself have fallen in the social media trap hole and am still pulling myself out. You have to stop listening to what people have to say. Stop caring all together really and just be creative.

Everyone wants to be notice today and yes social media is the way. I'm not saying stop posting your art. I do it and will continue. Yes I want people to see my work. But what I am taking about is being Controlled by it. Don't let the public tell you what is acceptable.
